It still took more clicks than the nifty "convert track" tool we have now, but it was an improvement (And if your memory was good, you'd remember that there was no train cloning with TTDPatch either). Later on, TTDPatch gave you the option of not having to delete the tracks instead you could simply build over the old tracks with the new track type. I remember how crappy it was to have to delete tracks and re-lay them. Now, I'm just going to go back over what you said in substance and discuss this "convert to monorail issue" in the context of what you've said.
Forum posts tend to be misinterpreted frequently and people expect others to be nastier over the Internet whenever the opportunity presents itself, since there's almost no way to hold another accountable for their words. I will understand, because I've had people become greatly offended by things I posted with the intention of making others laugh. Maybe you never meant any offense, and if you didn't, then I can only offer my sincerest apologies for being so offended.
Maybe you don't understand that it sounds rude to say "Hi, Vox" and then post a quote in full and then copying someone else's syntax to try to refute their point of view. Rainer, if you're going to send me arrogant sounding private messages and follow me around on the forums just to argue with me, please do go ahead, but don't expect me to respect you in the least when I came here with no intention of being argumentative in the first place and all I wanted was to lend a simple opinion and point of view.
